For the first time in eight years, Brett McKenzie and Jermaine Clement, A.K.A. Flight of the Conchords, will reunite on stage, heading to the Santa Barbara Bowl ahead of their appearance at Netflix Is A Joke Fest this May.
Once named New Zealand's fourth most popular folk-comedy duo, the beloved kiwi pair first came to mainstream attention on the release of their unique HBO sit-com back in 2007, before taking on the world on tour. Their first public appearance together since 2018, this much-anticipated band meeting is set to be one for the ages. Make sure you're present!
A cult sensation in their native land, Flight of the Conchords won the hearts of America with their 2007 HBO series, which detailed their song-filled adventures in New York City as they sought fame and fortune, supported by their useless manager Murray (Rhys Darby) and no.1 (and only) fan Mel (Kristen Schaal). Spawning the songs 'Business Time' and 'The Humans are Dead', 'The Most Beautiful Girl (In The Room)', 'The Prince of Parties', 'Bowie's in Space', and many more, the show became a highly quotable instant classic, cementing the pair as two of the most beloved comedy voices of their generation.
